Bridging the Gap in Community Support
Lumorae is not being built to simply patch broken systems. It is being built to create practical alternatives where existing routes are failing.
Lumorae is being developed to close the gap between what people need and what existing systems can realistically deliver. Rooted on the Fylde Coast, Lumorae is open to future members, supporters, businesses, funders and partners from across the UK.
The long-term aim is to shape, test and prove the model carefully, then grow where there is real demand, suitable funding and the right partnerships in place.
Who Lumorae Will Help?
Lumorae aims to support people aged 16 and over who need better routes into stability, opportunity and practical support.
This may include people facing housing pressure, barriers to work, low income, family pressure, unstable circumstances, isolation, practical barriers, or situations where existing systems feel stretched, confusing or hard to access.
It is also for parents, carers, people rebuilding after difficulty, people trying to move forward after disruption, and those who may not be in crisis but still know that the current routes are not working for them.
Lumorae is also being built for people, businesses, funders and partners who want to help create something clearer, fairer and more practical.
Our Approach to Community Infrastructure
Lumorae is different because it is being built as practical community infrastructure, not another short-term project or signposting service.
The aim is to connect clear routes around work, housing, practical support, Pulse updates, member opportunities, business involvement, Reset, Lifeline and community-backed action under one not-for-profit model.
